Is the EnergyRadar Product Line available for different countries?

The EnergyRadar product family is available for different type of smart meters through out Europe and world wide. The product family is designed for smart meter with a HAN port, a P1 Port or just with an optical Interface. Get in touch with us and let us know, which type of smart meter your are using.

Do I need to install a new Wifi network?

The EnergyRadar product famliy will use the local WiFi network.

Can the EnergyRadar product family used in 3rd party applications?

The EnergyRadar product family provides standardised interfaces via an API and MQTT. The API is used for integration in local applications like HEMS or Smart Home. The MQTT interface is used for backend integration in to advanced IoT applications.

How do I install the MeterExtension #1?

Just connect the MeterExtension #1 to the local port of your Smart Meter. For each Smart Meter, the location of the local port will be different.

How do I restart the MeterExtension #1?

Disconnet the MeterExtension #1 from the Smart Meter and reconnect it again. This will restart the MeterExtension #1.

Does the MeterExtension #2 need an external power supply?

The MeterExtension #2 comes with a battery inside and therefore don’t need a external power supply. The battery lasts approximately 2 years depending on the usage of the MeterExtension #2.

Does the MeterExtension #2 read real time data?

The MeterExtension #2 is designed for applications where 15 Minute values are sufficient.

Does the MeterExtension #3 need an external power supply?

The MeterExtension #3 needs an external power supply and therefore has a USB connector build in.

Does the MeterExtension #3 read real time data?

The MeterExtension #3 reads the data from the optical port of the Smart meter in nearly real time. Therefore it will provide real time data to the EnergyRadar APP, local HEMS applications and also can be used in IoT applications.

What is the BlueTooth - WiFi Bridge used for?

The BLE- WiFi bridge is designed to collect data from many households and sends this data to a backend system for further applications, webpages and others.
