EnergyRadar APP

The EnergyRadar APP is used to configure the MeterExtension and to visualize the energy costs and the current consumption and feed-in to the energy grid.

EnergyRadar APP

MeterExtension #1

The EnergyRadar MeterExtension #1 uses the local WiFi network to provide electricity data for the EnergyRadar APP.

Application scenarios

  • Connects to the local port of the smart meter

  • Sends the encrypted data to the EnergyRadar Service Management via the local Wi-Fi

  • Decrypts the data from the meter if required (depending on the meter type)

Easy installation

  • The installation is carried out in three steps

  • Connect the MeterExtension #1 to the local port

  • The EnergyRadar APP guides you through the installation process

  • Data granularity: > 5 seconds / depending on counter configuration

  • Interfaces to the smart meter:

    • HAN connection - MBus with RJ45 & RJ12

    • P1 /DSMR 5 connection

    • RS485

  • No external power supply required (depending on the smart meter)

    • Optional: USB port for external power supply

MeterExtension #3

The EnergyRadar MeterExtension #3 uses the local WiFi network to provide electricity data for the EnergyRadar APP.

Application scenario

  • Gives customers a real-time insight into their actual energy costs and consumption

  • Uses WiFi for communication

  • requires an external power supply

Simple installation

  • The installation is carried out in three steps

  • Place the MeterExtension #3 on the optical eye of the meter

  • Connect the MeterExtension to a power supply via a USB-C connection

  • Start the EnergyRadar APP. This guides the user through the installation process
